She’s with The Band

For the first time, 1960’s music journalist, Sue Mautner, opens up about her time working, touring and partying with the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many more icons of the time. What started as a serendipitous appearance on ‘Ready Steady Go!’ in 1962, resulted in decades of professional and personal experiences with some of the most influential artists of the last century taking her from London to Germany, and Marrakesh to LA.

From ghost writing for Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Mick Jagger, et al at Boyfriend magazine, writing for Beatles Monthly, Rolling Stones Monthly features for NME and the articles for Tiger Beat to covering the 1966 Beatles Germany Tour for Beat Publications, Sue found herself present at historical moments in time including a seat at the table when The Beatles chose the name for their sixth studio album, Rubber Soul.

For the first time, Sue Mautner is sharing details, stories and memories that have stayed with her for over 60 years.
